We are pleased to announce the 7th International Cell Senescence Association (ICSA) Conference. The conference will commence on 29th Sep and last until 1st Oct, 2022 at the European Research Institute for the Biology of Ageing (ERIBA) institute in Groningen, The Netherlands. ERIBA is a research institute with state-of-art facilities, focusing on mechanisms and causes of Ageing. The institute is located in a picturesque University town in the North of the country. The institute consistently hosts various scientific events, bringing together leading researchers and students.
We cordially invite you to attend the International Cell Senescence Association (ICSA) Conference and submit an abstract for oral and/or poster presentation.
The ICSA is a global association specifically focused on state-of-the-art and most recent progress in the field of senescence – with both a fundamental and a translational component to aging, cancer and chronic disease. Within 8 years, ICSA has grown from 15 to over 700 members worldwide. The Association organizes the largest annual conference solely dedicated to cellular senescence where early to mid-career researchers and senior scientists as well as clinicians present and discuss the state-of-the-art and the most important progress in the field. As part of its activities, ICSA organizes an annual conference to stimulate this connection and to promote collaborative research by exchanging the latest developments in the field of cellular senescence and their potential to counter signs of aging and chronic disease.
The previous event (6th ICSA Conference) held in Osaka, Japan was a huge success with participation from outstanding scientists in diverse but novel research areas from all across the globe. During the conference, exciting advancements in the understanding of the basic biology of senescent cells as well as the most innovative serotherapeutic approaches were discussed, many of those covering unpublished work. The conference was in a hybrid format and reached >300 attendees.
Looking forward to meeting you in Groningen, The Netherlands.
